“ This is a great little place in what was once a small town in Dayton, TX. My hubby and I visit often and are always satisfied with the food and service. If you want a good, juicy burger, then this is the place. Just make sure to tell them if you want it we'll done. ”
“ I'm hoping the owner is following their reviews. The food was quite good. Grilled snapper was on point, fried shrimp were pretty good. They use parboiled rice which I'm not fond of ..we live in rice country, give me real rice please. I know it's hard in a restaurant setting but it's important. The staff were like chickens with their heads cut off. It wasn't busy, and it wasn't a huge deal. Just had to ask for things more than once. The place needs a make over. It's showing its age. Could be a real nice little place if they would put some money back into the interior ”

“ This place is one we have driven by for 5 years and WE REGRET WAITING SO LONG because our entire experience here was wonderful! First off our waitress (forgive me if I misspell it) Domanique was a very sweet helpful waitress, she was attentive and anticipated our needs. We ordered 2 appetizers (fried pickles, and boudin balls) and they were delivered to us prior to our meal just as it should be, hot and delicious. Our main course was the 1 fish 6 shrimp and 6 oysters w/ 1 stuffed crab (I substituted onion rings instead of fries) with coleslaw. The tea was not just fresh but had a nice robust flavor like southern tea should be, no weak restaurant tea here, more importantly she made sure to ask if we wanted a lemon with our tea which is a very appreciated question! All our food was fresh and hot and in a timely manner. I cannot say enough how impressed we were with every aspect of our visit and we will definitely be coming back for more!!! Kudos to the staff here you left us wanting more!!! ”
“ This is a cool little spot west of Dayton. The food is good and the staff are friendly. I usually get the 1 fish and 6 shrimp. My wife will get grilled fish with mixed vegetables. The have other options besides fish. I would recommend this place to anyone. ”
